Cabinet card, dated: 1894

There is a wonderful article about this fivefold-portrait and its unusual back by footnotemaven in her blog 'Shades of the Departed'. The information on the back of this photo opened only a small peephole into history. But footnotemaven did a fine research which opened the hole widely to an amazing biographical story of Hiram Heaton and his very well known daughter.
